Yarkand/Shache: Yarkand has a history of more than 3,000 years. It is a famous historical and cultural city that integrates humanistic landscapes with natural landscapes, Central Asian culture, and Western Region culture.
Kashgar: You could say it is the most exotic place in China, withstunning Islamic architecture, and most of the film“The Kite Runner ”was shot here.
Palong Ancient Path:At about 4,100 meters, the Panlong Ancient Path hovers like a huge dragon on the Pamir Plateau. The road and the colorful mountains are perfectly combined, as are the majestic wonders of the continuous snow-capped mountains in the distance.
Toxkorgan : This ancient tribe, which borders three countries, has unique folk customs. The people there are known for their simplicity and kindness. In spring, the whole village is decorated with apricot blossoms.
Pak-China Friendship Road:Driving on this Road, we will have a beautiful encounter with Oitak Red mountain, White Sand Lake.Standing on the plateau, you can see both Karakul Lake and the wonder of Muztagh Ata Peak.
Pamir Plateau:Snow-capped mountains and the placid lake rest in the nunnery quiet glen, forests, Gobi desert, and almond blossoms... are scattered in every corner of the Pamir Plateau, and you can experience the four seasons in one trip.
After breakfast, we will come to the Kashgar Old Town main gate to watch ‘The Opening Ceremony '(about 10 min), then we are free to explore any corner of the town, buy souvenirs, taste lamb buns, or try ethnic clothes… In the afternoon, we will move to the western part of the town to watch a Uyghur wedding cultural show after lunch, we will visit the Biggest Mosque in China—The Id Kah Mosque, and the Kashgar old city ruins exhibition area. At night old city has another side of charm, we suggest you see it and our driver will pick you up after dinner.
After breakfast, drive to Shache, the city has 3000 years history, it wa one of the most important country on the ancient Silk Road, meanwhile Mausoleum of Amani Shah Khan (poet also musician ——famous for collecting and organizing Muqam )Khan Palace, Muqam concert( Uygur cultural treasure in musical field)will give you better understanding of Uygur culture.
After breakfast, we will directly head to Toxkorgan. On the way, we will be able to see Karakul Lake, and Whitesand Lake. Arrive at Karakul Lake in the afternoon at the foot of the Mustagh Ata Mountain, the father of glaciers.Arriving at Toxkorgan, the Ancient Stone City, is a spot you can't miss. We highly suggest you have local yak meat for dinner.
After breakfast, drive to Kuke Xiluke to view the apricot blossoms. On the way, you can also see many apricot blossoms and villages and towns where you can stop and take photos. In the afternoon, continue to Ta'er Township, to view the seasonal flowers, according to legend, it was the route for Xuanzang of the Tang Dynasty to return east after studying Buddhist scriptures. On the way,we will pass the mysterious Blue Lake and back to Toxkorgan
After breakfast, we will drive back to Kashgar via the Palong Ancient Path, which is located in the Kashgar region of Xinjiang. This path stretches for a total of 75 kilometers and features more than 600 curves, including many 180-degree and even 270-degree turns. We are expected to arrive in the afternoon.
